Internships

NASA requires internships to meet three criteria:

1. Minimum of 400 contact hours;
2. Activities are designed and directed by the mentor;
3. Assignments and deliverables are degree-relevant and beneficial to the mentor in furthering research goals.

MDSGC organizes internships in partnership with several of our member institutions through our Summer Exchange program. In addition, we support Maryland students offered internships with NASA. We also welcome proposals to support additional interns.
