Morgan State University
Morgan State University (MSU) is a charter member of MDSGC and therefore one of the oldest affiliates of Space Grant. It is an HBCU. Morgan State is an active participant in MDSGC programs and contributes members to the Program and Scholarship Committees. It has been a participant in the Balloon Payload Program and is also one of the original participants in the Summer Exchange, and the annual engineering student summer research symposium has been hosted there. MDSGC participates in the Baltimore MUREP Aerospace Academy STEM Extravaganza that is hosted each year at Morgan State, and draws more than 500 people to participate in hands-on activities.
